[Game] Explain That

PostPosted by verdilak » Sun Aug 24, 2008 11:33 am

I dont know how well this will work on the boards, but it should be pretty fun.

One person gives a condition. Another person gives a consequence. Someone else quickly thinks of an explanation for how the consequence might follow from the condition.

Example:

Person 1; Condition: "If trees could speak..."

Person 2; Consequence: "...overcrowding in jails would no longer be a problem..."

Person 3; Explanation: "...because trees would probably be able to yell pretty loudly. So we could take advantage of that by keeping prisoners in woods, instead of in jails. If any of the prisoners tried to escape, the trees would yell loudly enough to draw the guards' attention. And with most prisoners living in woods, there'd be fewer prisoners in jail."

The funnier and more believable your explanation, the better.

I'll Start.

If humans could breathe water...

Because Robin Leach (the host) would have noted the warning and not attended the jello party (an Bill Cosby's) that lead to his ultimate downfall: a jellow addiction resulting in his gross obesidy. The champagne and caviar only added to the problem, and the networks decided to can the show due to the fact that Robin could no longer fit through even the largest of double doors, let alone climb the steps up to the mansions that he documented.

Because clearly the oft-unemployed newspaper photographer is a better choice for a boyfriend than the guy with all the money in the world and the will to spend it on you.

If money grew on trees....
STARE INTO MY EYES FOREVER
LET ME TAKE YOU IN MY ARMS
DANCE WITH ME OUT IN THE GARDEN
WHERE TOMORROW NEVER COMES
FOLLOW ME INTO THE DARKNESS
WHERE THE NIGHTMARES NEVER FADE
WHISPER DREAMS MY FALLEN ANGEL
FROM WHICH YOU WILL NEVER WAKE
Religion starts wars. Spirituality ends them

Some people are like Slinkys. Not really good for anything, but every once in a while they're fun to push down the stairs.

because due to the fact that everyone would have free money, the price of commodities and necessary items would rise exponentially, causing one to decide to grow his own food. otherwise, he would have to strip every tree around just for one meal.

If cats could speak english...

they would also hold degrees....

Because cats are the evil masterminds of the universe, and being able to speak merely makes their intelligence obvious. Schools would have to let them earn degrees or be destroyed.
