(American) Civil War Supers [TSdX, PbC)

100 character points, very few limits, in a low-tech world where supers are completely unknown. I'm thinking sort of an X-Men situation, with powers developing due to genetic anomalies.

Good for any of these times to play this game.

Have you guys managed to fill this up yet? I could potentially be interested. I know other-board recruits are notorious flakes and all, but, honestly, it's ridiculously hard to find a game that's RP-focal without it also being PbP. So! If you guys aren't full up, I'll throw my hat in and vote for Saturday or Sunday. Sunday would probably be best, though.

Awesomesauce. I'll keep peeking in on this thread to see how things are going!

In the meantime, I've snagged the rulebook and am whipping up a character. I dunno what skill cost bit you wanna use, so I'm going with Old West, just since it's the most time-appropriate.

Are we soldiers? Blue? Grey? Common folk? Politicians (that could be fun)?

Are we talking just strictly point-and-shoot soldiers, or are peripheral kindsa roles available, too? So far, I've got two ideas I'm tossing around. One would be best as a spy-y sort, and the other a medic/nurse (heck, I could make the first one into a medic if need be).

Just wanna make sure before I get my mind set on something. :D

No, you guys won't be limited to standard infantry positions. Get creative with it, and keep in mind that most soldiers on both sides were farmers, businessmen, and craftsmen by trade. You can certainly take support roles such as medics, especially if you want to play someone young, middle-aged, or female. We'll probably start somewhere like Missouri or Kansas where the local populations will be especially divided.
