[Official] 2nd Annual Wintereenmas: Secret Gamer

PostPosted by verdilak » Sat Nov 13, 2010 8:59 pm

This is the Official 2nd Annual Wintereenmas Secret Gamer thread. Wintereenmas, if you don't have it seared into your gamer soul already, lasts from January 25th to 31st each year. See the following thread for our 1st Annual Secret Gamer thread: topic3782.html

$20 max like list year (unless you are loaded and want to be generous) for gifts should be fine. Shipping is included in that or not, depending on your situation.

If you want in, say so in this thread. Also, PM me the following:

name you want it sent to (real name, username, other fake name)

    address

if you would be open to sending a gift to someone outside of the US (can't forget our foreign members here)

and a wish list (homemade items, used rpg's, new rpg's, console games, food items, Amazon wish list, ect.)

I think it would be more interesting if packages are sent anonymously, i.e. no return address so that you have to guess where it came from (or you can purposefully give a fake address to throw them off), though it has been mentioned that some post offices might not take packages sent anonymously. So it will have to be up to you how you want to address it.

Also wish lists can be posted in public as well if you want. That way everyone can help to try and guess who sent what to whom. Not required, but it could make this more fun.

I'm accepting PM's and entrants until December 15th to state if they are in and to PM me the details. This gives everyone 2 weeks to decide if they want in and to see what type of items they would like to put on their wish lists. I hope a good number of people decide to do this.

I would like to, but don't know what all I can afford
STARE INTO MY EYES FOREVER
LET ME TAKE YOU IN MY ARMS
DANCE WITH ME OUT IN THE GARDEN
WHERE TOMORROW NEVER COMES
FOLLOW ME INTO THE DARKNESS
WHERE THE NIGHTMARES NEVER FADE
WHISPER DREAMS MY FALLEN ANGEL
FROM WHICH YOU WILL NEVER WAKE

Rayven, you dont HAVE to afford anything beyond shipping... unless you decided to send something electronic, in which case, not even that. Like, Red might send out artwork or dice bags (like she did last year I believe).

Is it bad if I can't remember what I sent last year?... but yes, a dice bag is almost assuredly included.

"afford" for me doesn't mean money, but time (as in, my work schedule hates the post office). Go ahead and put me down though, and I'll make it work.
