Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me."--Ferris Bueller, 1986

That is terrible. I don't watch the news or read the paper, cause I just don't want to know about things like that. I'm in no position to help, and it just makes me hate this world more.

Because it's possible to solve both problems at the same time?

I dont see how going to the moon is a problem, but regardless, they both aren't being done at the same time.

It isn't a problem in the sense of something being wrong with the world; it was a problem in that we didn't know how to do it (like a complex math problem) and we solved it. Thus, problem solved.

And the fact we haven't solved both at the same time, doesn't mean that we can't. We (humankind) surely do need to focus on the hunger and suffering part of that picture a lot more. But I firmly believe that doing both concurrently is not only possible but doing them at the same time can actually benefit both.
